Les Gars de Frochot
2026 — Oil on canvas — Hotel Le Pigalle, Paris
These paintings emerged from everyday life on rue Frochot in the Pigalle neighbourhood of Paris. The works observe the people and places of the street — someone smoking outside a closed bar, a figure passing in the window, the particular light of an afternoon that nobody photographs.
The series was shown as part of Les Gars de Frochot, a group exhibition at Hotel Le Pigalle in February 2026, co-organised with Luca Spolidoro and Eoghan Gilmore as part of the Frochot Boys collective.
